Orakei Marina opened in Dec 2006 and is Auckland's newest and premier marina catering for predominantly larger vessels.

Situated adjacent to the Royal Akarana Yacht Club on Tamaki Drive in Okahu Bay, Orakei sits opposite North Head and the entrance to Auckland Harbour, providing unparalleled access from downtown Auckland and the inner eastern suburbs to the Hauraki Gulf and Gulf islands.
Protected by a solid rock breakwater on three sides, including a stunning walkway on the Nor-Eastern breakwaters, the 180 berths consist of wet berths ranging between 12m and 40m in length.

Our berths are designed with the following features: full length fingers; two or more intermediate piles; generous fairways; power and water supply with individual power modules catering for superyachts and vessels up to 40m in length; Gull 24 hour floating fuel jetty; sewage pump-out facilities; on site security guards; and ample car parking, available to berth owners and visitors on the unique cantilevered car parking platform.
A friendly, professional management team operates out of the floating Marina Office, providing management, information, maintenance and security services to the berths and marina facilities. All enquiries are welcome by visiting the team at the Marina Office.
